Video: See three Gordon Murray T.50s driving together
As we get ready to see the GMA T.50 in action properly for the first time at the 78th Members’ Meeting, the next chapter in the car’s development has been uploaded. Four-time IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti’s latest T.50 experience involves driving an XP car, getting his first proper experience on what the T.50 will be like to drive once finished.
Of course, there's still a little way to go yet. As well as experiencing the T.50 in its current state of tune, Dario had to give some feedback on the car. Limited to 6,000rpm, this prototype is more about honing the chassis dynamics. Even at half revs, a few tantalising blips of that fabulous V12, now clothed in near-production spec T.50 carbon coachwork, is nothing to sniff it. Oh how anxious those lucky few who’ve got one on order must be to get their hands on it now...
