As the 2022 motorsport season here at Goodwood comes to an end, we’re hugely excited to announce the dates for the 80th Members' Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport, the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard and the 2023 Goodwood Revival.
Following our announcement of the dates for next year’s 80th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport, we can now officially complete the 2023 calendar for all of our motorsport events.
After the season opening at the Members’ Meeting in April, attention will turn to the Festival of Speed in July, before we wind down for the winter once again with the Revival in September. It’s sure to be another excellent year as we celebrate a number of very important anniversaries.
First and foremost, 2023 will see us commemorate 75 years of motorsport at Goodwood after the Motor Circuit was opened in 1948. It also signifies 30 years of the Festival of Speed, 25 years of the Revival and also 25 years of the Goodwood Road Racing Club. You can be sure we will have plenty of exciting stuff planned throughout the year.
Our traditional season opener is back once again, and this year it promises to be one of the best ever. Taking place on the 15th-16th April, the 80th Member’s Meeting will showcase some of the very best historic motorsport on the planet, including an exciting return of the S.F. Edge Trophy, featuring some of the most incredible pre-war machines.
Last year’s 79th Members’ Meeting saw memorable demonstrations of Porsche 956 and 962 Group C sportscars, screaming V10-era F1 cars, and dramatic Formula Drift machinery. You can bet there will be plenty more to look forward as we build towards another exciting weekend.
The 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place slightly later than its traditional June date, this year’s most famous hillclimb will be held on the 13th-16th July.
Following this year’s record-breaking performance from the McMurtry Speirling, we looking forward to bringing even more excitement to the Hill in 2023, as well as the return of Electric Avenue presented by bp pulse and Future Lab presented by Randox.
The 2023 Goodwood Revival will once again send off what is bound to be another memorable season of motorsport in its traditional mid-September slot, taking place on the 8th-10th September.
Our famous Motor Circuit will once again be sent back in time as it plays host to the most spectacular historic motorsport in the world.
But it won’t just be the action on the track to look forward to. Following a hugely successful introduction of the Revive & Thrive Village in 2022, you can an even busier schedule of workshops and presentations as we once again embrace the Make Do and Mend ethos and second-hand sustainability.
Commenting on the announcement of next year’s events, The Duke of Richmond, said: “Following a spectacular season at Goodwood, we’re delighted to announce the dates of our 2023 motorsport events, as we start preparing for an exhilarating year both on and off the track.
