Family time is the best time. That's why we offer a delightful array of activities designed just for our younger guests staying at The Goodwood Hotel, ensuring they have as much fun as the grown-ups.

All activities are exclusively available to hotel guests. To learn more or reserve a place, please speak with our reservations team when you check in or call 01243 775537.
Some sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to plan ahead.
Please note that there may also be a charge for certain activities, details of which can be found below.
Easter activities
From crafting sustainable creations inspired by Goodwood Revival’s Revive & Thrive ethos to racing remote control car time trials inspired by the legendary Festival of Speed, Easter at Goodwood is packed with adventure.
Little ones can embark on egg hunts, build secret dens, craft gut-healthy Easter chocolate bars, compete in high-energy sports day challenges, perfect their swing in mini golf, and play cricket where the sport’s history was made. Our activities are crafted to ignite imagination and create unforgettable experiences.

Den Building
Get out in the woods and let your imagination run wild. Located close to the hotel, this activity invites families to step outdoors, get creative and work together to craft their very own woodland fortress, hideaway, or retreat. Using natural materials and plenty of teamwork, it’s the perfect way to enjoy fresh air, spark creativity, and make lasting memories together in the great outdoors.
Kwik Cricket
Step back in time and embrace the history of cricket at Goodwood, one of the first places where the game was played regularly and where some of the earliest rules were recorded. In this spirited session, families can enjoy a game of Kwik Cricket, complete with a fun net session and a lively team game, designed to ignite a love for the sport in children and adults alike.
Make Your Own (Healthy) Easter Chocolate Bars
Join us for a sweet and educational Easter treat as families craft their own gut-healthy chocolate bars at Goodwood. This fun and interactive session introduces the concept of mindful indulgence, proving that delicious and healthy can go hand in hand—even for the youngest foodies.
Make Your Own Spa Potions
Treat young creators to a magical Spa Potions workshop at Goodwood, where they’ll mix up their own natural face masks and fizzy bath bombs using skin-loving ingredients. A fun and sensory experience, this workshop lets kids explore the art of self-care while crafting their own spa treats to take home and enjoy.
Sustainable Creations: Make A Bug Hotel
Inspire children from a young age to be passionate about wildlife as part of Goodwood’s ‘Revive & Thrive’ initiatives to rethink, repair and re-wear across the estate. Learn about the importance of insects in our ecosystem while creating a welcoming home for little garden visitors. A brilliant way to inspire young minds about sustainability and wildlife conservation.
Fun on the Farm
Step into the heart of Goodwood Home Farm for a fun-filled day of animal encounters, farmyard adventures and hands-on learning. Meet the farm’s friendly residents, discover how food is grown and produced and experience life on a real working farm. A perfect opportunity for little explorers to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors.
Goodwood Sports Day
Get ready for some friendly competition at Goodwood’s Sports Day. Inspired by the spirited tradition of our annual Member’s Meeting, kids will join House Teams to compete for the coveted House Cup. With high-energy activities and plenty of laughs, this sports day is all about teamwork and fun.
Little Golfers
Introduce your little ones to the world of golf with fun and engaging sessions led by Goodwood’s certified PGA professionals. Taking place on the new Short Game course, The Copse, and the driving range, these playful lessons are designed to help junior golfers of all abilities develop their skills while building confidence and a love for the game.

You will be able to book onto any of the activities up to the day the activity is due to begin.
If you have booked a Hotel Family Activity Stay, you will be pre-booked onto sessions throughout your stay.
All sessions are subject to availability and will operate on a first come first serve basis. We do encourage early booking to avoid disappointment.

There is no food or drinks available throughout the sessions, with the exception of the Little Farmers Tea Time at Farmer, Butcher, Chef each day. It is advised that children should bring a water bottle with them to each activity.

A minimum of one adults over the age or 18 years old needs to be present with every two children for non-water based activities.
Up to two adults can join each session with the child. It is actively encouraged for adults to participate in activities with their children.
For pool-side and swimming activities there should be one adult present for every child taking part.

Easter Holiday Stays – Pricing & Booking Information
Prices for stays throughout the Easter holidays start from £160 per night. The price you pay for your stay will depend on the following:
General Booking
- From £160 per night, Monday – Thursday (6–10 April 2025)
- Price includes a double or twin room with breakfast
- Additional beds for children: £25 per bed per night
Kids Activity Pass Stay
- From £175 per night, Monday – Thursday (6–17 April 2025)
- Price includes a double or twin room with breakfast
- Additional beds for children: £25 per bed per night
The Kids Activity Pass is included in this price, allowing up to two children to take part in any of the activities on offer.
Children booked under this stay will receive priority access to all activities throughout your stay.

Booking Without a Kids Activity Pass
If you book a stay without the Kids Activity Pass included, you can add a Kids Activity Pass for £10 per child per day.
Passes are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis—early booking is advised.

All instructors are all DBS checked and each activity and area is thoroughly checked and risk-assessed prior to the start of all activities. Adults who are accompanying with the children taking part in each activity are responsible for their children during the session and should stay with them at all times.
There will be a first aider on site throughout each activity.

Yes, they are all created to be a small group size, with adult supervision, there is always a space for children to take a break in if they need.
Do let us know in advance of the session(s) you book if there is anything we need to know or any adaptations we need to make, to ensure the activities you book meet the needs of your child/ren.

Yes all activities with the exception of swimming sessions are exclusively for our residents staying at the hotel. We have fantastic room rates starting at £150 per night over the Easter school holidays, £175 per night with a kids activity pass included. Easter bank holiday weekend stays are from £250 per night.
