What is your job role here at Goodwood?

I am Retreat Operations & Special Events Manager here at Goodwood, which means I get to oversee how our fabulous retreats run as well as the events we host here for our members and those visiting Goodwood to come to one of our Health & Wellbeing events.

What do you enjoy about working at the Health Club?

I love teaching classes and seeing members having fun whilst keeping fit. Seeing members progress without them even realising is great, they come to my class to have fun, even though we’re working hard whilst doing it!

What kind of sports/fitness/wellbeing do you enjoy?

Zumba and other dance fitness classes are my absolute passion. I call them exercises in disguise, which always works best for me! I do love to slow down too and enjoy a good stretch in a yoga class. And I even enjoy a chilly dip in the sea to make the most of the benefits of cold water therapy!

What is the most unusual thing you’ve ever had to do here at Goodwood?

I think the most unusual (and cold) thing was immersing myself in a 0-degree ice bath for four minutes as part of our Wim Hof Retreat. I loved it, much more than I was expecting to and was so full of energy afterwards. I now practise cold water bathing regularly.

What does Health & Wellbeing mean to you?

To me, health and wellbeing is a way of life. For my own holistic wellness, I aim to choose nutrient-dense foods to put in my body and use non-toxic products as part of my skincare routine. I also make sure I immerse myself in nature as often as possible.
