The Supersprint is available as a single-seater or two-seat Caterham, both with four-point harnesses, with six different paint schemes to choose from.
Under the bonnet sits a Caterham Works-tuned three-cylinder engine developing 95bhp, and the suspension package has adjustable platforms and a Caterham Works racing live rear axle with A-frame.
The Supersprint bookends Caterham’s 60th birthday year; the vintage-styled Sprint was launched 12 months ago, at last year’s Revival, with all 60 examples sold within a week of its unveiling.
Caterham describes the Supersprint as “offering the ultimate in gentleman racer style” and “as at home on the road as it is on the circuit”.
Unique styling cues include a Brooklands windscreen, and quilted and stitched seats trimmed in Innes tan Scottish Muirhead leather. There is a wooden-rimmed sports steering wheel and Sixties-style racing livery. The six paint schemes are named after classic race circuits including Aintree (green with orange noseband), Hockenheim (silver with red nose band) and Imola (red with white nose band). The single-seater version comes with a tonneau cover.
The Caterham Supersprint will be on display on Caterham’s stand at the Revival.
