In order to advertise the 38-tonne load capacity of the manufacturer’s new ‘bogie’ – the platform behind the cab that supports a semi-trailer, not the things you’ll see hanging from the nose of a toddler – the marketing team decided to stack the FMX, FH, FH16 and the FM atop one another. It makes perfect sense!
Called ‘The Tower’, the 80-second video sees the truck stack accelerate into the stormy darkness with Roger Alm, President of Volvo Trucks, stood on top – a resplendent tank commander, the cherry on top of the Volvo cake. We love you Volvo Trucks. Never change your crazy marketing strategy.
