Video: Porsche 911 GT3 RS has just blitzed the Nürburgring

Porsche has just sent its latest high-performance 911, the GT3 RS, around the Nürburgring and we’re happy to say it was recorded for our viewing pleasure.

The time was 6:49.328, some 10.6 seconds quicker than the 911 GT3 managed back in June 2022, which is not overall surprising when you consider the additional engineering that has gone into Porsche’s most hardcore 911 to date.

It’s packing 525PS (386kW) 4.0-litre flat-six and produces three times the amount of downforce as the ‘standard’ GT3, and you can see just by watching this lap just how utterly planted this car is. It looks incredible to drive, lucky customers don’t have long to wait until it goes on sale in 2023.
