Imagine the scene. It’s a clear dry day, there are very few cars around, and the keeper of a Ferrari 246 Dino places the keys into your hands. “Go for a drive,” they say, “enjoy yourself.” Well, you wouldn’t need asking twice, would you?
The 246 Dino, or 1969 246 Dino GT L-Series in this case, is not the most expensive or the most glamorous or the fastest classic Ferrari. The first ‘junior’ Ferrari, it had a V6 rather than a V8. But to have the opportunity to drive any Ferrari is special enough, and this particular Dino, finished in a beautiful bronze colour, is seemingly in the mintiest of minty conditions. So off you go, enjoy the drive.
