This is Goodwood Road & Racing’s first ever build challenge, and so we decided to start with two icons, Richard Burns’ 1999 Subaru Impreza WRC and Carlos Sainz’s 1998 Ford Escort. Both kits came from Tamiya (you can have pretty much anything, from a Suzuki Jimny to a 911 GT3 Cup or Zakspeed Jägermeister Ford Capri), and the plan was for us to build the cars and get them moving in just one day.
