Video: BMW M4 Competition Review

I don’t know if you heard, but BMW made a bit of a change to the design of the front of the M4. It was only minor though, so basically no one noticed.

Other than that, there are some more changes. The engine has more power with a fancy wastegate to help reduce lag, there’s a new electronic diff that is very, very clever and spits power to the correct wheel even more efficiently than before, and it has drift analyser for impressing your mates.

It’s also heavier – it weighs in at a very, very small amount under 1,700kg, which is not an insignificant number. So is it still a proper M car? Is this a BMW that you can enjoy driving even though perhaps it has the odd quirk to work around? Let’s find out…
