Video: 5 things we love and hate about the Hyundai Ioniq 5

We spent a week finding out what it’s like to live the with Hyundai Ioniq 5. During that time we discovered that for all of its good bits, there were several things we didn’t like much at all.

It turns out, this big electric Hyundai is actually quite a polarising car. While we love how it looks and appreciate how spacious it is inside, the sheer mass of the thing coupled with the unnervingly inconsistent brakes take the shine off what was for the most part a very satisfying ownership experience.

The Ioniq 5 joins a growing class of electric SUVs that includes the Volkswagen ID.4 and Kia EV6, and each of these cars offers a slightly different take. Watch the video to see what we think about Hyundai’s exciting new offering.
