Coachbuilding artisans Touring Superleggera have revealed their latest exclusive project. Meet the Arese RH95, a two-seater mid-engined supercar that celebrates 95 years of Touring Superleggera heritage.

In its design, it combines signature features of both the Disco Volante and the Aero 3 on this aggressive yet elegant machine. Distinctive additional features not present on the car on which this is based, a twin-turbo, mid-engined machined from Maranello, are the prominent air scoop and the butterfly doors.

Touring has entirely rebodied the car in carbon fibre and even reconfigured and overhauled the cabin. It’s a striking machine, with that dorsal scoop described by Touring as the car’s “emblematic feature”. It’s joined by a pair of prominent side scoops, not dissimilar in location to those on the 488 but better integrated into the flowing shoulder line. There’s a sophistication found on the other models from touring, married to a curvaceousness reminiscent of 1960s sports racers like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.

The engine is a 670PS (493kW), twin-turbo 90-degree V8, putting power to the rear wheels via a seven-speed “F1” dual-clutch transmission. It’ll get to 62mph in three seconds flat on the way to a top speed of 205mph. Consider those specs and performance numbers, along with some of the cabin features, like the steering wheel, and it’s safe to assume the RH95 uses the Ferrari 488 GTB as its underpinning. Presumably, Touring can also build your RH95 on the newer but similar F8 Tributo platform if you so desire.

As above, though, those are the only tells. This thing really is a bespoke item in almost all ways that you can see. It’ll be exclusive, too. It’s said just 18 Arese RH95s are to be made, each tailored to the buyer’s exact specifications to create “bespoke masterpieces”. As such, price is entirely fluid. There’s no such thing as a ‘base spec’. Not really. So if you have to ask, well, you know. Touring Superleggera are taking enquiries now, with at least the first three cars already spoken for. What do you think of the RH95?
