McLaren is celebrating its 60th anniversary by introducing a range of styling upgrades for its series production cars – including the GT, Artura and 750S – that celebrate the company capturing motorsport's unofficial 'Triple Crown'.

To claim the 'Triple Crown', a manufacturer must take victory in three of the world's most prestigious events – the Indianapolis 500, Monaco Grand Prix and the 24hrs of Le Mans. McLaren won the Indy 500 in 1974 and took its first win at Monaco (now one of 15) in 1984 before sewing up the treble when the McLaren F1, on its maiden voyage, took victory at Le Mans in 1995.

The styling packs celebrate these victories. As a result, you can choose from Indy Orange – a modern twist on the M16D race-winner's tangerine finish – Monaco White (based on the predominantly white MP4/2 race-winner) and Le Mans Grey, a metallic that – you guessed it – inspired by the Le Mans-winning F1 GTR.

Along with the paint job, Triple Crown cars get brake callipers finished in Indy Blue or Le Mans Gold. And, if you specify glossy carbon fibre door mirrors, you also get a 60th anniversary 'Speedy Kiwi' logo in either orange or silver – the badge worn by Bruce McLaren's racing cars.

McLaren 750S owners can go one step further with Triple Crown Stripes. These painted stripes start on the bonnet and end on the rear wing, an idea we are 100 percent sure McLaren hasn't nicked from the Ferrari Pista. The stripe includes Triple Crown artwork on the bonnet and the underside of the rear spoiler. McLaren will build 60 cars, one for each year of the company's existence.

You can also give your McLaren the Triple Crown treatment on the inside. Optioning a carbon fibre steering wheel allows you to add a painted centre line in Indy Orange. Fancy the (optional) carbon fibre shift paddles? Then you can have them with streaks of Triple Crown colours.

All 60th Anniversary cars get a brushed aluminium plaque featuring a 60th Anniversary logo in McLaren Orange that incorporates a '60' within the 'Speedy Kiwi' logo. Meanwhile, a 750S with Triple Crown Stripes adds a "1 of 60" marking on the plaque.
