Radical has teased a model that’s a birthday present to itself. The Project 25 is a culmination model, celebrating 25 years of track-attacking Radical cars and is set to be a track-only 861PS (633kW) monster.

First teased in November 2022, a new picture reveals the front end of the car, joining the shady silhouette image of the rear previously published by Radical.

With its LED lights, enclosed cockpit and enormous rear wing the only elements clear to see. The last two were to be expected from Radical. Needless to say, it’ll be a serious machine in terms of aerodynamic potential.

Just 25 examples are to be made with delivery scheduled for the end of 2023. Evolved from the RXC line, Project 25 will use a twin-turbocharged V6 engine to produce that considerable power figure. Exact specs, including downforce, are to be revealed, with only VIP guests of Radical’s end of season World Finals in Las Vegas having seen the car in full.

“25 years,” said Joe Anwyll, Radical Motorsport CEO. “It’s a huge accolade for Radical Motorsport as a race car manufacturer and single-make racing series organiser. ‘Project 25’ has been designed and will be built to commemorate this milestone and showcase the knowledge and skills our UK-based engineering and manufacturing firm has to offer.
