After worldwide demand, Lotus has announced a bespoke service that will allow you to customise your car exactly how you want it. It's called Lotus Chapman Bespoke and will launch in China on 25th April before it's rolled out globally in the coming months.
Customers can stamp their identity on their Lotus, from custom badges and trims to complete one-off personalisation projects.
The service offers three levels of customisation: 'Tailor-made', 'Collection', and 'One-off'. The 'Tailor-made' opens up unique colour combinations and allows you to add personal touches to your car. 'Collection' lets you choose limited-edition designs created by partners, luxury brands and artists. 'One-off' means you can have every part of the car finished as you want.
Ben Payne, VP of Design, Lotus Group, commented, "Many of our customers are looking for a bespoke experience; be that colour, texture, fabric, detail – and we are excited to see their individuality stamped on our cars around the world."
The Lotus Chapman Bespoke name is a tribute to the company's founders Colin & Hazel Chapman, who started the business in 1948 in London and pioneered innovations in motoring and motorsport for the next three decades.
"The story of Lotus is the story of a bespoke carmaker. The first cars were hand-drawn and hand-built at home by Colin Chapman, and that spirit lives on in us today," said Qingfeng Feng, CEO of Lotus Group.
