Electric Mini Convertible revealed as £52k limited-edition
Mini has revealed the Convertible version of its all-electric Mini, though it won’t be a series production model. As we near the end of this generation Mini’s life, the electric cabriolet is a late addition to the range. As such, Mini has seen fit to make it a limited run: 999 units for Europe, with 150 destined for the UK. It’s priced like a limited edition too, at £52,500 OTR.
It won’t be as customisable as your usual Minis either. Just two exterior colours are available, in enigmatic black and white silver. Parts of the brightwork are finished in bronze, while badging is black.
The side scuttles and door sill trims will also feature what number of the 999 each example is. On the inside, the electric cabriolet gets sports seats with a leather lounge design, a multi-function nappa leather sports steering wheel and yellow accenting.
As a reminder, the Mini electric powertrain delivers 124 miles of all-electric range and features a 184PS (134kW) electric motor up front. It’ll get to 62mph in 8.2 seconds. As above, pricing starts from £52,500 with deliveries beginning in April.
