Everyone knows Aston Martin is James Bond’s car of choice, but what’s his bike of choice? That would be Triumph, a long-standing and beloved British biking institution, which has now released a special Speed Triple to commemorate 60 years of Bond. This is the Speed Triple 1200 RR Bond Edition.

Marking out the Bond Edition is a special paint scheme, with a Black, Granite Grey and Storm Grey three-colour scheme, in which the 60 years of Bond logo can be seen on the tank. That’s in among the 25 Bond movie titles incorporated in the tank design, including last year’s concluding entry for the Daniel Craig Era, No Time To Die.

The nose of the bike meanwhile features a gun barrel livery, in tribute to the iconic Bond opening visuals. Gold detailing and gold logos complete the exclusive Bond Edition look.

Just 60 of these Bond Edition Speed Triple RRs are to be made with each already spoken for. Each are paying £21,995, for which they will be getting a 180PS (132kW) 1.16-litre triple, five riding modes for various conditions, adaptive Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes. The Speed Triple is as close as Triumph makes at the moment to a fully-fledged sports bike, with the modernised retro superbike looks appealing greatly. If only they did the Bond Edition in yellow so buyers could re-live their days of riding the Daytona 600 in the Everything or Nothing game.
