Stop everything you’re doing, because this looks like the most exciting thing we’ve seen for a while. Alpine has just teased this, the Alpenglow, a concept car that embodies the company’s vision of “a sporty future”.
It’s said that the next generation of Alpine cars will follow the style of this concept, which we have to say looks absolutely incredible.
The name Alpenglow refers to a phenomenon often seen in mountain ranges at sunrise and sunset and Alpine says: “It clearly expresses this concept car’s mission to magnify the moment when the revolutionary forms and technologies of tomorrow are to be revealed, with the brand delivering a revival vision. It's a name that invites you to sit back and enjoy the view.”
We can’t help but feel there is more than a passing resemblance here to the new LMDh cars that have been revealed over the summer in advance of the 2023 season. We know Alpine is planning a new hypercar for 2024, so could this our first look at what it may look like?
For now, though, it suffices to say we’ll get a better look at this extraordinary-looking on Thursday, 13th October while it will also make its physical debut at the Paris Motorshow on 17th October.
