Video: This Judd V10 Supra is an assault on the ears
Sometimes being a motoring and motorsport fan is borderline masochistic. Take today’s video for example, involving Ryan Tuerck’s Judd V10-swapped Toyota Supra, in track attack spec. The noise is incredible, soul-enriching to anyone with even a drop of petrol in their system. And yet, it’s also excruciating, in terms of raw volume and the shrill tone of it. It’s pain, but we love it!
In all seriousness though, discretion in terms of volume is advised, for the health of headphone users and for the interpersonal relationships of office workers. We guarantee most non car people will only feel pain upon hearing this. All good? Now, press play and brace yourself. This thing really does scream like the ‘Formula Supra’ name would suggest. When off-track, we get a few looks around the car and in the engine bay, where we can see the sculptural single-piece AEM carbon inlet feeding the ravenous trumpets, five-aside atop one of the great racing engines of the modern era. Down below, we see the snaking exhaust manifolds, appearing to us as a wind instrument band at rest. What we wouldn’t give to see this at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard…
