New Forza Motorsport cover cars revealed | FOS Future Lab

06th June 2023

A few weeks ago, we wrote a list counting down our favourite game cover cars. Perhaps we wrote that list too soon, because Turn10 Studios have revealed what the cover cars will be for the new Forza Motorsport reboot and hot damn, are they some fairly epic choices. It will feature the Cadillac V LMDh and Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray.

When you think about it, it’s a very carefully considered pair. For what is an American franchise, we have two American poster cars – one of course from the road, the other the track.

Both pack the best of America’s motoring past – a thumping great V8 – in combination with its future – a blistering electric motor. These are a pair of high-performance pushrod V8 hybrids, GM’s latest and greatest from the road and track and we love to see it.

In terms of what we’ll see next from the hotly-anticipated, long-delayed simcade racer? Well, it’s due to be front and centre on 11th June at the Xbox Games Showcase, where we’ll get an up-close look at the cars.

On 13th June, during the Forza Monthly broadcast, we’ll see a full walkthrough of the game’s single-player career mode. Based on how much we’re seeing, we’re expecting a September-October launch.

The game promises to deliver new levels of immersion as “the best sounding Forza Motorsport ever”, as well as “the most accessible Forza ever”. There are set to be plenty of new features and 500 cars from launch. Are you excited for the new Forza Motorsport?
