It’s track day time once again back at the Goodwood Motor Circuit with today’s fuel-burning festivities wearing an “Octane” banner. What treasures did we come across on our lunchtime walk around the paddocks?
It’s a familiar weird and wonderful mix of track hacks, supercars and everything in between with the go-to Caterhams and Ginettas showing the more exotic end of the spectrum how no-compromise track performance works. That said, the 997 RS and the 964 bring the noise. You can’t beat the sound of a howling Porsche Motorsport flat-six on song as it exits the chicane at Goodwood.
Our pick had to be the '90s beauty that is the Alfa SZ. We're not quite sure what it was doing being thrown around a circuit. It's not exactly a well-honed track car, but it was the belle of the ball for us. What’s your pick of the litter for a few laps around the Motor Circuit?
