Aurelia Nobels has been confirmed as the third driver in ART’s line-up for the 2024 F1 Academy season. She’ll be racing in the Puma liveried car representing the brand’s new partnership with the all-female race series.
The 17-year-old Brazilian joins Bianca Bustamante and Lia Block in the ART stable where she will race in F1 Academy for the first time.
A member of the Ferrari Driver Academy since December 2022, Nobels began her career in the Brazilian F4 Championship before making the move to Europe in 2023, racing in both the Italian and Euro F4 championships with Prema.
Her 2024 season is already underway, ahead of her appearance in F1 Academy, Nobels has been busy warming up by taking part in two rounds of the Formula 4 UAE Championship.
“I’m super happy! It’s a new opportunity and I’m sure I’m going to learn a lot,” Nobels said. “I’m going to do my best to represent Puma as well as possible. I love the livery. I think the car is very different and nice, I love the colours. It feels amazing, it’s a big brand and so special.”
