Antonio Felix da Costa joins Porsche Formula E team

The Portuguese driver brings with him a wealth of racing experience, particularly in Formula E, in which he’s been involved since its earliest days. Overall he’s contested 96 races, with seven wins and 16 podium finishes contributing to his title win in the 2019/2020 season and respectable finishes in years besides.

He will be joining Pascal Wehrlein to complete the Porsche pairing. Next season will also see the introduction of the new Gen3 Formula E car, which of course we first saw in action at the 2022 Goodwood Festival Speed presented by Mastercard. The Mexico City E-Prix will kick the season off on 14^th January 2023.

“I’m delighted that António is coming on board. He has an incredible skill set as a racing driver and has demonstrated many times that he’s a winner, not only in Formula E,” says Thomas Laudenbach, Vice President of Porsche Motorsport.
