Since its launch in 2022, the all-female F1 Academy has grown in its global reach and popularity. It received a boost this year when all seven rounds supported the Formula 1 calendar, a situation that is going to repeated in 2025.

F1 Academy will visit no fewer than three new venues in 2025, at the expense of races in Spain, Qatar and Abu Dhabi. The season begins in March at one of those new circuits, the Shanghai International Circuit in China, replacing Saudi Arabia as the season's curtain-raiser. The race in Jeddah is now second in the schedule, followed by a return trip to Miami.

Canada’s Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is another new entry on the calendar, before F1 Academy's sole European race in the Netherlands. The final two races will take place in Singapore, with the last of the new venues, the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, will host the season finale. F1 Academy will also have the distinction of being the first single-seater support series to visit the American street circuit.

The seven rounds will include 14 races, while there’s also a 15-day testing programme in the interests of giving drivers significant seat time throughout the season. Now broadcasted in 160 territories, F1 Academy contnues to grow, with a Netflix docuseries also said to be planned for 2025.

Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 Academy, said: “I am proud to announce our F1 Academy 2025 calendar, which demonstrates our continued commitment to taking the series to new heights, expanding our global reach and bringing our mission to an increasingly diverse and engaged global audience.

"I want to thank our promoters for their enthusiasm and support, and for joining us on our journey to create opportunities for women to thrive at every level of our sport. Finishing our season in Las Vegas will be an iconic moment, and its addition to the calendar is testament to the wealth of support we receive from Formula 1 and Liberty Media.”

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, added: “F1 Academy continues to go from strength to strength, delivering brilliant on-track action for our fans and inspiring young girls and women around the world. We are seeing huge interest in the series, and it is fantastic that the calendar features new venues and once again spans three continents, meaning we can continue to build our audiences and connect with fans around the world.

"I would like to thank our race promoters who continue to support F1 Academy so passionately. What has been achieved in just two years since the series was launched has been incredible, and I cannot wait to see the cars hit the track again next year.”
