Video: WRC 10 celebrates 50 years of flying through forests | FOS Future Lab

The game, as with multiple prior instalments, is being developed by Nacon and KT Racing, off the back of the success of last year’s WRC 9. WRC 10 will see the introduction of retrospective mode, allowing drivers to experience 19 events and various cars from throughout the history of the WRC, going all the way back through WRC cars, the monsters of Group B and even earlier than that. From the Focus WRC of the 2000s, to the Subarus, Mitsubishis, Toyotas and Lancias of the 1990s and 1980s, Audis, and even the A110 that won the first-ever World Rally Championship. Of course, the latest machinery from Toyota, Ford, Hyundai and more will be the core of the game, along with contemporary events.

The well-received physics of WRC 9 are due to be upgraded for this year’s game, with extra emphasis on aerodynamics, turbo power delivery and braking performance. There’s a new livery mode for the designers among players, that you can make for your own team.

The game is due to launch initially in September on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a Nintendo Switch release to follow afterwards.
