Good racing has at its core all of the elements you need for a good movie. Bravery, perseverance, heroes, villains, victories and tragedies. Ford vs. Ferrari, Lauda vs. Hunt – two of the all-time great motorsport stories that have been turned into superb movies by Hollywood, pack all of these ingredients in and more.
Those stories aren’t exclusive in the racing world in having those elements. These movies have only nicked the tip off the iceberg of stories in motor racing that could be turned into films. So, we thought we’d list seven incredible motorsport stories that could be translated into silver-screen gold.
