Video: Is a 7-litre L88 Corvette round Daytona at night the American dream drive?
The only issue with the HSR Classic 24 at Daytona, if we’re being extremely picky, is the fact we’re on the sidelines and not behind the wheel. Alas, we seem to be confronted with this issue at most events of this nature but fear not – we have a substitute that’s nearly as good as.
Minus the dinner-wrenching g-forces, the physical fatigue and the need for a quart or two of driving talent we can of course ride on board as these monstrous machines tackle the circuits of our dreams. An L88 7.0-litre Corvette round Daytona at night makes a good go of heading that list of dream machine/circuit combos but of course, it doesn’t quite top it. We might have a small case of circuit bias, though…
