Video: How to drive a 911 RSR round Sebring

Sebring Raceway is a formidable circuit that is a test of a drivers perspective, their ability to gauge distances, braking zones as well as surface quality. It presents a driver with mild elevation changes, long and slim hypnotic straights as well as a variety of turns.

Switchbacks test a drivers ability to stay on line, nail braking and throttle balance, while long sweepers will have you reading the cars grip levels through your buttocks. A circuit like this isn’t for the faint of heart, especially with the minimal, if nonexistent runoff areas in places. Appropriate then, that the video above courtesy of the Historic Sportscar Racing channel on Youtube sees Jim Pace tutoring the perfect lap of Sebring in what many would argue is the perfect car. A 1974 Porsche 911 RSR 3.0-litre. Enjoy the sights, the sounds, and listen carefully…
