Video: How it feels to tackle a rally stage in a Lancia Delta
Have you ever wanted to drive a Lancia Delta Integrale 16v Group A? Of course you have. Well, this is as close as you’re likely to get. In this wonderful footage we’re sitting in the driver’s seat for the Rally Legend event in San Marino. As soon as we leave the start line we’re greeted by a rally stage straight out of a gritty detective drama as it winds through an industrial estate.
Thankfully, some carefully laid out hay bales mean we won’t be clattering into a concrete wall at 100mph. As we fly through the chicane, virtually trimming the edges of the wing mirrors off, we approach a jump with the beautiful countryside as our backdrop and head round to complete a challenging loop. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
