What’s the best way to celebrate a 7th birthday? If you’re a seven-year-old the answer is probably ‘with cake’, but if you’re Mission Motorsport the answer is ‘with a track day filled with loads of interesting cars’.
Mission Motorsport is a charity that helps those affected by military operations, introducing them to the world of motorsport, and was launched on 7th March 2012. All in all, 1,700 ex-veterans have found employment in the motor industry thanks to Mission Motorsport.
The birthday trackday was a loud one, loaded with road and race cars, including a McLaren F1, a Porsche 959 S and a 991 GT3 RS with its rear wing removed, a loud Jaguar Project 8 and a gorgeous Alfa Romeo Giulia race car. What better way to start the week?
