Gallery: F1 cars on track at Goodwood Motor Circuit

Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard celebrated 70 years of Formula 1 in style today with a parade of spectacular machinery from the sport’s history and you can re-watch in full here. Everything from Sir Stirling Moss’s Monaco-winning Cooper, to a nearly-new Mercedes-Benz EQ Hybrid W08, shared track space in celebration of F1’s seven decades.

The McLaren MP4/6 and its sonorous Honda V12 was as deafening as it was tuneful and did you ever think you’d see two 2009 F1 cars, the Brawn BGP 001 and the Ferrari F60, in close succession on our track? The famous dart-like Brabham BT52 was a real treat, turbo chirping and spooling, as were the Tyrrell 001 and Lotus 72, formerly of Sir Jackie Stewart and Emmerson Fittipaldi respectively. Re-live for yourself, what might be the most impressive precession of F1 machinery from over seven decades of racing.
