Gallery: 77MM – Mega McLaren parade led by Senna GTR world debut

10th April 2019
Adam Wilkins

The Senna GTR made its world debut at the Members' Meeting at the hands of former Formula 1 driver Bruno Senna, nephew of legendary triple F1 world champion Ayrton Senna after whom the McLaren Senna is named. The fastest McLaren this side of the Formula One grid, just 75 will be built, all with a price tag of £1.1 million. All have been sold.

While nobody could ever accuse the Senna of being anything less than utterly rapid, the track-only GTR takes things a stage further by throwing off the restraints of road legality to create the ultimate track machine for a small number of fortunate owners.

The Senna GTR was joined by the 'regular' Senna, and previous hypercars in the form of the P1, P1 GTR and the iconic F1. McLaren's range of series production cars also formed part of the parade and took on safety car duties throughout the weekend, including the McLaren 720S and the new 600LT.
