Video: The spectacular Beast of Turin in action

18th March 2017

Here's a car that needs very little introduction. In the last couple of years, the Fiat S76, aka the Beast of Turin, has established itself as a Goodwood favourite. After all, what's not to like about a 28-litre four-cylinder machine that was once unofficially the fastest car in the world.

Duncan Pittaway is racing the S76 in the S.F. Edge Trophy, which returns this year after its very popular debut at last year's Members' Meeting. It features all manner of spectacular Edwardian machines, the most 'modern' of which is from 1923. The oldest? The 1903 Mercedes of Ben Collings. An incredible grid and an unmissable spectacle.
