We of course refer to the Mustang v Mustang battle in the spectacular Pierpoint Cup, in the case of the video above, from the point of view of the pursuing car, with none other than touring car legend Steve Soper at the wheel. Though Craig Davies’ number 9 car seems to get away on the straights, Soper is right back on him gnashing at his heels through the bends. Davies’ exuberant ‘steer-from-the-rear’ method is awesome to watch, and the licks of flame his Mustang belches out are spectacular. As we can see, Soper gets a bit too into it, taking Davies onto the grass after an attempted overtake, from which thankfully both cars would recover. What an epic battle!
