Video: 2024 Gordon Spice Sprint full race | 81MM
We love to end a Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport with a curveball. That curveball at 81MM was the Gordon Spice Sprint, which reversed the grid according on the finishing order from Saturday's Gordon Spice Trophy.
That means up front we have the more diminutive cars like Fiestas, Escorts, the Minis and even a few Capris. Storming through from the back, hot on their tail from the off, are the Camaros, Mustangs and SD1s, which are tasked with threading their way to the front. Needless to say, it’s a dicy process, as little and large lock horns in pursuit of the same line through the corners.
All this as the sun goes down over the 81st Goodwood Members’ Meeting. It’s a spectacular watch and a great way to end the weekend. Strap in and enjoy 20-minutes of chaos, but be ready, there’s not a moment’s let-up in the action.
