The bigger beasties of Heat 2 of the Gerry Marshall Trophy had engines displacing 3.0-litres or more, which made for a grid of everything from six-cylinder Ford Capris, to th...

And it was a Camaro and a Capri that made for some incredible lap-after-lap racing for much of the heat, as Jack Tetley in the Eumig Chevy chased down and battled Ric Wood in the Gitanes Capri. Jack struggled to keep the fury of the Camaro under control as it speered sideways in the heat of the tussle. Power prevailed, however, with the monster from across the pond keeping the fighty Ford at bay on the straights. It’ll for sure be an exciting final with the fastest of both heats battling it out for overall supremacy.
