He guided his Porsche 904 Carrera GTS to victory in commanding style, but it was Vincent Gaye who impressed at the start aboard his Ferrari 275 GTB/C. He blasted the V12-engined GT off the line from the second row to assume the lead, but Bryant took him at St. Mary’s on the second tour and he wasn’t headed thereafter. In third was Billy Bellinger in his sleek SLR-Morgan coupe but the man on the move was Michael Gans in his two-litre Abarth-Simca 2000 Corsa. He was fourth at the end of the second tour and second by the time he arrived at St. Mary’s a lap later.

Sadly, the Italian machine was out before half-distance, with Bellinger running ahead of Gaye while Josh Files impressed in fourth place in his Triumph TR4. The positions remained static thereafter, Bryant adding to his already gilded Goodwood resume with another win. He crossed the line 6.124 seconds ahead of Bellinger with Gaye 3.650 seconds further down the road.
