Hertz Team Jota’s Cadillac Hypercar will put on an electrifying demo at Members’ Meeting
The schedule for the 82nd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport is becoming increasingly enticing, and the latest addition will be one of the more impressive machines to ever grace the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Prepare for Team Jota’s Cadillac V-Series.R, one of the best sounding racing cars on the planet and a current competitor in the World Endurance Championship, to open up its 5.5-litre V8 for a pair of high-speed demonstrations.
Jota Sport has grown to become one of the leading teams in the World Endurance Championship, where it has raced since 2016, first in the LMP2 category before graduating to the Hypercar class with a Porsche 963 in 2023. As Hertz Team Jota, the team won the Spa 6 Hours on the way to becoming Hypercar Teams’ Champions in 2024.
The team has taken on a new partner in Cadillac for the 2025 season, becoming a factory outfit for the first time, and targeting the outright Manufacturers’ Championship. And Goodwood will welcome that Cadillac, resplendent in its new gold livery, for a dynamic debut on British soil at the 82nd Members’ Meeting.
Jota celebrates two anniversaries in 2025. It’s 25 years since the team’s foundation in 2000, and 20 years since Jota first raced at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2005.
After four years in the LMP1 category at the World Endurance Championship’s blue riband race, the team made the step down to GTE Pro and then LMP2 for 2012. Jota won the LMP2 class for the first time in 2014, and topped the podium places again in 2017 and 2022 before making the step back up to the top tier.
That legacy will be at the forefront of all our attention when the Cadillac rolls out of the Assembly Area on Saturday and Sunday of Members’ Meeting, V8 booming into life as it does so.
These demonstrations, carried out by current Jota drivers Alex Lynn and Will Stevens, will be the first time a contemporary WEC Hypercar has been in action on the Goodwood Motor Circuit, an historic moment indeed that’s bound to deliver a visceral assault of the senses.

The 82nd Members’ Meeting will take place on 12th and 13th April 2025 and tickets are now available for Members and Fellows of the GRRC.
