Gallery: The best pictures from Saturday at the 78th Members’ Meeting

It’s been a wild day. It might have been dry to begin with but soon enough the heavens opened, which gave the cars of the Gerry Marshall Trophy some seriously tricky conditions. 

The track was still sopping wet as the pre-war S.F. Edge machines ventured forth, but thankfully the rain stopped and the tarmac began to dry. After that we’ve seen more touring cars, single-seaters, motorcycles and not only the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, making its world debut alongside some of Murray’s finest road and race creations, but Ayrton Senna’s 1991 championship-winning McLaren MP4-6 with Bruno Senna at the wheel. Sometimes you really have to pinch yourself. So, with all of that under our belts, here’s a gallery with some of our favourite photos from the day.
