The 79th Goodwood Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport will see the first ever demonstration of tandem drifting on the Goodwood Motor Circuit, as some of the world’s best drifters demonstrate their art.

With six drivers already confirmed as taking part, including triple Formula Drift champion James Deane, the debut of drifting at Members’ Meeting is set to be incredible.

Each pairing will set off from the assembly area to drift a full lap around the circuit in tandem. At the end of their first lap the drivers will switch over, so that the second car leads the second tandem lap. Each pair will complete two laps of full sideways action around the 2.5 miles of Goodwood track before a cool down lap at slower speeds.

The demo will take place once each day and, with no safety cars required to lead the drivers around in their precision ballet, it will be an awesome spectacle of controlled tyre destruction.

There are still some tickets for the 79th Members’ Meeting available to Goodwood Road Racing Club and Fellowship members. For just £43 a year, the Fellowship offers a range of benefits in addition to the ability to purchase tickets for the exclusive Members’ Meeting, including access to our extensive video archive, competitions, offers, and much more.
