Video: Goodwood SpeedWeek Day 3 full day
Day three of SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard is the big blowout. The one where everything is let loose. We had to go out and finish with a bang and we reckon Sunday’s roster did the job.
Stack the final Driftkhana round on the incredible TWR XJR demo, another round of Formula 1 and then add two rounds of shootout running – one for practice, and of course the final timed run – as well as the RAC TT Celebration. It’s a who’s who of landmark Goodwood attractions. It’s mad just to say shootout back-to-back with the TT.
The TT didn’t close the day out, however. Over the course of the weekend we celebrated with Porsche, 50 years since the marque’s original win at Le Mans. That celebration involved Dickie Attwood, in the original 1970-winning Porsche 917K, taking to the track into the dusk, with a fleet of five decades’ worth of winning Porsche machinery in tow. How wonderful it’s been to bring motorsport back to Goodwood this year. Now you can relive it all in full.
