Revival Greats Stream timetable
As you may have noticed over the last few months, we at GRR like to try and make the best out of any bad situation. So when we were told that the 2020 Goodwood Revival would be postponed into 2021, we decided to take it as an opportunity rather than a loss. We’re not losing out on an event, we’re gaining the opportunity to showcase our favourite moments from Revival and preview Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard!
So, beginning this Friday – the day this year’s event would have begun – and continuing for the whole weekend, we are showcasing Revival Greats: our favourite moments from the recorded history of the Goodwood Revival. It starts this Friday (11th September) with an afternoon stream of some of the great races that Goodwood has seen. This kicks off with the bonkers second St. Mary’s Trophy race from 2017, before the Lennox Cup shows off epic bike racing from back in 2002. Friday will also feature a TT, as all days should, another St. Mary’s touring car battle, and some more, before culminating in the stunning Sussex Trophy from last year – a fight between a Ferrari 246S Dino, a Lister Knobbly and a Lotus XI. Not to be missed.
Saturday revs into action with a whole day of streaming, from 10am right through to 4.30pm, starting with another Sussex Trophy as we celebrate the great drives. This day is a day for those times a driver (or drivers) put on an amazing show of driving talent. In the Sussex Trophy you will see an incredible burn-from-the-stern from Phil Keen, followed by a similar performance from BTCC nearly-man Sam Tordoff in the Fordwater Trophy. Then there will be F1 action, touring cars, another TT and it’ll all finish off with the stunning Kinrara Trophy from back in 2016. A day not to be missed.
The final day of the weekend will feature the great cars of the Goodwood Revival. A day to celebrate the races that included some real motorsport gems. And what better way to start off, than with a race for just drum-braked Ferrari sportscars of the 1950s. We’ll then have another bash at the TT (this time from 2012) before we celebrate the cars of Bruce McLaren. The screaming battle of the 2018 Kinrara Trophy (Ferrari 250 Breadvan vs. E-type Jag) will follow before the Brooklands Trophy shows off some of Revivals true oddballs. Later on we’ll have some all-American muscle in the Shelby Cup, before, as is tradition, one final Sussex Trophy brings our amazing weekend to an end.
