Gallery: The SpeedWeek Bonhams sale

15th October 2020
Adam Wilkins

All eyes will be on the action at Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard, but there’s another part of the event that you won’t want to miss – the Bonhams sale. The Earls Court building is host to over 300 lots of automobilia and cars, with plenty of jaw-dropping offerings to temp you.

How about a Ruf CTR3, believed to be the only right-hand-drive example ever built? The CTR3 was the first Ruf to use a bespoke chassis, rather than being based on a Porsche 911. Wide, low slung and with a mid-mounted flat-six engine, it was highly regarded for its performance and handling.

Others that caught our eye include the 1970 McLaren M8C Can-Am car, the 1938 Lagonda V12 and the Jaguar XJ13 recreation. Take a look through the gallery to see which one would have you raising your bidding paddle.
