Video: 2024 Revival Day 3 | Full Day

A torrential downpour made for some spectacular visuals as these tiny little cars waded through an ocean of standing water, but brought the opening race of the day an unfortunate early end as conditions worsened.

After a brief delay, the rain did eventually ease to allow the ‘50s Formula 1 cars of the Richmond & Gordon Trophies to put on a brilliant show as the sun came out once again. Part 2 of the Settrington Cup followed that as away from the track we celebrated the official opening of the Tyrrell Shed in its new home here at Goodwood.

The bravery of the riders in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy was on full display as morning turned to afternoon, as Davey Todd once again put on a great display in tricky conditions on his 95-year-old BMW R63, before things slowed down for a poignant moment as the whole of Goodwood stopped to commemorate the 80^th anniversary of D-Day.

A huge collection of military vehicles was in attendance over the weekend covering land, air and sea, and many of those congregated on the Grid as the Duke of Richmond addressed those in attendance, including two D-Day veterans. It was a beautiful and memorable moment as we remembered the heroes of that day.

Racing action resumed with the RAC TT Celebration, which will be remembered as one of the greatest races we have ever seen at Goodwood as Tom Ingram and Jake Hill were embroiled in a remarkable battle for victory.

The Motor Circuit was finally bathed in warm sunshine as the afternoon went on and we enjoyed the Glover Trophy and Part 2 of the St. Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul before the 2024 Goodwood Revival was brought to an end with the Freddie March Memorial Trophy on Sunday evening.
