Mini has had quite the year. When 2024 draws to a close in a couple of months time, the marque will have essentially revamped its entire line-up over the past 12 months. Indeed a year ago, we were in Germany being presented the new range of Mini hatches and Countrymans for the first time. Now, at the Goodwood Revival in 2024, Mini has yet another new electric model on sale, the all-new Aceman.
Bigger than a Cooper but smaller than the new Countryman, the Aceman is what Mini has referred to as the ‘Goldilocks Mini’. Mini highlights also the expansive room on the inside and the woven material interior, that links it to the original. Definitely, nothing like what the original had, is that amazing new OLED screen and concept car-like dashboard and steering wheel.
The two Acemans were parked in Earl’s Court at the Revival, with a classic Mini parked between them. As the number plate should reveal, this Mini is called ‘ISSI’, after the laundromat in which we find these Minis.
As well as get to know the new Minis and marvel at the original, attendees could enjoy the scent booster station, a prize-producing washing machine and even a hankie giveaway. There was also “Cooper’s Confectionery”, a vintage sweet shop with flavours to match each Mini’s personality.
Revival is always a delight for Mini lovers. Outside of Earls Court Motor Show you’re never far from one being ragged on its sidewalls round the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
