Alongside our commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Jaguar’s legendary XK engine at the 2024 Goodwood Revival, Jaguar itself will be carrying out its own celebrations with Jaguar Classic.

The team has entered a 1963 Jaguar Mk2 into the St. Mary’s Trophy presented by Motul, marking Jaguar Classic’s racing debut at Goodwood Revival.

You’ll be able to spot the dark blue car out on the Motor Circuit across all three days of the Revival, being driven by Jaguar TCS Racing’s reserve and test driver Joel Eriksson on Sunday and former Goodwood House Captain Nick Minassian on Saturday.

The car itself is powered by a 3.8-litre XK engine, and has raced before at both Goodwood Revival and the Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport, but Jaguar Classic acquired it earlier in 2024 and completed an extensive rebuilt ahead of this year’s event.

Alongside Jaguar Classic’s racing exploits, the brand will also be showcasing a selection of its most significant vehicles inside Earls Court Motor Show at the Revival. Among a sprawling display will be a Jaguar XK120 Roadster, a C-type continuation, the 1988 Le Mans 24 Hours-winning XJR-9 LM and the 2024 Formula E world championship-winning I-Type 6.

Jaguar will be providing a number of models for the XK parades over the course of the weekend, including the 1954 prototype of the D-type from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.
