The 2022 Goodwood Revival was another hugely memorable weekend, with an extra layer of poignancy as we paid our respects to Her Majesty the Queen. As the Motor Circuit fell silent for the last time on Sunday evening, there was one more chance for reflection as the drivers, together with the Duke of Richmond, looked back on all of the fantastic track action we’d been treated to over the three days. With prizes for racing excellence and driving skill, but also embodying the Spirit of Goodwood, there was plenty to celebrate.
We’ve covered all of the 2022 Revival race results here, but these individuals all deserve their own special recognition.

2. Wojtek Kordel – Canadian Vickers Catalina
3. David Little – Hawker Hurricane

Each year at the Revival we remember one of this country’s most successful and popular saloon car stars, Will Hoy, by presenting a special prize in his honour to the driver who gives the greatest performance in a closed-cockpit car.
Ed Foster
This award is presented to the person who best embodies the Spirit of Goodwood, and goes the extra mile to bring the Revival to life. Following the sad loss of Simon Diffey earlier this year, the award will be permanently renamed the ‘Simon Diffey Award for the Spirit of Goodwood’.
Simon Diffey (posthumously)
A new award for this year, created in memory of Simon Diffey with the aim of continuing his ethos of recognising and encouraging the next generation of young heritage apprentice engineers.
