Gallery: Madgwick Cup sportscars dice in the wet

21st September 2016
Ethan Jupp

The kind of power-to-weight ratio heros that populate the grid of the Madgwick cup are perhaps better suited to the long sweepers of the Goodwood Motor Circuit in the wet than most cars that race at Revival.

Just the luck of the Lotus, Elva and Brabham pilots, that Saturday's conditions at Revival were more hurricane esque, than those conducive to sportscar racing. It made for some interesting racing, and some spectacular exhibitions of car control. As you'll be able to see in the gallery above, the rooster tales and haze ripped up by the racing looks incredible in stills.
