The 2022 Goodwood Revival will see top level racing drivers from almost 30 different championships race together; featuring everything from F1 champions to multiple Le Mans winners, Indy 500 victors and those who’ve tasted NASCAR glory.

Three drivers who’ve been crowned Formula 1 World Champion, a total of five times between them, will take to the track. The 2009 champion, Jenson Button, returns to race after his first taste of classic car racing at the 2021 Revival, while Sir Jackie Stewart and Damon Hill will join in with our celebration of the Hill’s double F1 champion father Graham.

In total 12 drivers who have raced at the very top level of single seater racing will be on track at the Revival. These include the new Hill record holder at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, Max Chilton and commentary legend Martin Brundle.

From the world of Endurance racing a total of 15 Le Mans winners will join us at the Revival, between them they have amassed an astonishing 44 victories. They will be led by the reigning Le Mans champion, current Toyota Gazoo Racing star, triple Le Mans winner, two-time World Endurance Champion and former F1 driver Brendon Hartley. He will be joined by “Mr Le Mans” himself, Tom Kristensen, triple champions Andre Lotterer, Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fässler, and the most experienced driver in La Sarthe history, Henri Pescarolo.

The F1 stars are not the only single-seater drivers who will be at the Revival. Double Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne returns to the Revival for a second year in a row, while current championship leader Stoffel Vandoorne will drive at the Goodwood Motor Circuit for the first time since the 73rd Members’ Meeting in 2015. IndyCar will be represented by two of its greatest ever drivers – six-time Champion Scott Dixon and four-time winner Dario Franchitti. Between them these two legends of American racing have also won the Indy 500 four times.

Joining us on two wheels will be iconic riders, winners and champions from the Isle of Man TT, World Superbike Championship, British Superbike Championship and MotoGP. Three renowned Isle of Man TT winners – Peter Hickman, Gary Johnson and John McGuiness will be racing at Revival – who between them boast an incredible total of 34 wins.
