The relaunch of the TVR brand at this weekend’s 2017 Goodwood Revival, along with the world debut of its new 5-litre V8 Griffith model, was supported by a 19-car strong TVR ‘concours’ to showcase the British sports car maker’s 70th anniversary, held within the Revival’s Earls Court Motor Show.

Surrounding the TVR stand and the new Griffith were 19 other TVR models, spanning the company’s first 70 years, ranging from the 1949 TVR Number Two, the world’s oldest surviving TVR, right through to a 2005 Sagaris.

Visitors to the Revival Earls Court Motor Show concours were invited to vote for their personal favourite TVR model, taken from the range of 19 models, representing the marque’s 70-year history.

The overall winning TVR chosen was a pristine 1978 3000M, with a 1963 Grantura MkI proving to be the second most popular choice, with one of four 1965 TVR Trident prototypes built by Fissore coming third.
